Payson is just a couple of hours from Phoenix and is one of my favorite weekend getaway.
Every time we go there I find more places to explore from antique stores to hiking, lakes and waterfalls.
Our first stop in Payson is Gerardo's Firewood Cafe. This time we ordered the Antipasto Salad and the Primavera Pizza. Also, I had a cappuccino which was amazing.
After we had lunch, I went to the Payson Candle Factory where you can find unique candles, gifts and collectible. I think a few of these candles would be great for my Christmas decor.
An Arts and Crafts Festival was taking place in Pine - which is a small town close to Payson, so we spent the rest of the day there.

I used to have a candle like that...they were popular back in the 80's
